Hey.. I have been missing for a very very long time.
Reason is something had happened @ home. I don't want to mention anything here.I can only say that I am very affected emotionally and bascially I am trying very hard not to go crazy. But for those who know me personally should know what is happening. For the rest of you, don't worry its not anything to do with DH, DD, DS. They are very well.
I have been so busy to the extend that I reported only 5 days to work in 2 weeks. I am thankful that my boss and colleagues are very understanding. Most of my job were delegated to them.
I am also thankful that PIL are helping to coach Vel in her school work and exams preparation nightly.
I want to thank a lot of friends who had openly give me emotional support/encouragment/visits/consolations and also those who had silently prayed for me and my family during this difficult times. THANK YOU LILING (for letting me pour my heart out),
XIANG WEE (for giving me your advice and sharing with me yr expreience),
IRENE (for reminding me that no matter how busy I get now I should remember my kids and not neglect them),
SITI(for doing so many of my jobs and keeping a look out for me when I am not able to come to work),
SAM (for advicing me to look on the bright side and running errands for me when in the office)
AND THE OVERCOMERS (for your faithful prayers and calm me down a lot when I was panicking)!!!
I can't thank you people enough. I want you to know that I am really grateful for the reminders, advice and so many other things.
I was finally able to do some web brownsing yesterday and I went into "XIA SWAY" (hokkien for embarrasing/ singlish "throw face") blog. I only have 1 comment : I AM VERY GLAD I AM NOT HER, COS IF I WERE I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I AM DOING. SHE JUST WILL NEVER BE AS CAPABLE AS ME. Or in this case she can't measure up to a lot of other Singapore girls.Really throw her parents and Singapore face. And I cannot imagine she is using her so call Singapore most famous blogger name in complaints letter/whinning letters and all sort of letter for all sort of wrong reason. Imagine if 1I go overseas 1 day and show people my ID and the get the idea that Singapore girsl are all like her so "ba4 dao4".. How??
Diu Lian Si Le..
1 type of rice Feed thousand type of people. This is my personal opinion in my personal space so anyone who read this is free to agree/ be angry with me.. HahHA..
Long time No Blog So A bit Naggy..
Anyway, I only hope things will continue to improve like it is now. I know eventually how things will end but being a human I hope it will be as far in the futue as possible.

1st Time Doing 2.4 In ViVo~~
Today work was as usual very relaxing except for moving the tables to the new office 1 storey up.
Cheryl kept her promise and spend her entire day (considering that she wake up at Noon and leave her house when she is done dressing up) with me. We went to VivoCity. We have been doing our 2.4 KM so many time this week we ran out of "stadium". So we decide on ViVo because we have never been there before.
Upon arriving there a chocolate shop caught our attention. Really can't resist the goodies in there!!! Remind us of the CHocolatier game we played on our PC. Bought $23.40 worth of chocolates. Hahah.. "Never Say No To Chocolate" used to be my favorite sentence (Actually It Still DOes.. Hee..). No matter how angry or impatience I am, this brown little "sinfu" thing will always melt my heart
Then we went to bossini and I bought 3 tops (I always run out of this!! And I always over-use them). Cheryl had not had breakfast, Lunch, Tea or Dinner yet so we went hunting for food. Finally settled down @ a cafe and ordered 2 set meal of sirloin steaks. I like mine really rare. I got no idea why but ita always juicer. Cooking will dry up the juices if not done properly. When I eat @ Sizzler, even though I ask for rare, it still come to me quite cook. But this time time I really get a very rare piece. Cheryl comment taht I might as well eat the raw beef. Hahah.. But Its nice ok!! We ordered a dish of fried SHITAKE too!!! It is DELICIOUS!! Comes with a wasabi mayonaise sauce. HMM.. Will never forget the taste. Yummy!!! Drink was as usual iced chocolate drink. Cheryl has a milky almond drink. Had a small portion of ice cream too ( It comes with the meal not that we are greedy ok!!!)
After all the main course, time for our chocolate! We bought a few assorted flavour.
I particularly like the Sphxin ( I think I got the wrong spelling but any way its the famous face from Eygpt). There were also minty chocolate (in the shape of a leaf), dark ones ( my fav!!!), truffles ( Her fav!!!) and 2 very special whole cherry with Liquor in it (It Look Like A Bomb IN This Picture). Chocolate Lovers will understand my satisfaction when the chocolate melts in the mouth.. hmmmm..
We spent so much time chocolate tasting that by the time we reached the "stadium", it was closing. The staffs there were really very eager to shut everything and go home. There were even this aunty who in her rush to chase all of us out, accidentally hit Cheryl's hand when she was pulling down the sheets to cover the cooler shelves! Though she did apologise, I still think its a very rude gesture as it was quite obvious we were looking @ the yohgurt on the shelves. There are so many other shelves that need to b covered, can't she go on to the others first?? Typical example of work hard and not work smart. In the end we didn't really do the 2.4 (i think less then 300m. HahHA). I just grab a pack of Drypers, a tin of formula and a tube of toothpaste and then head for the cashier. Cheryl bought a pack of potato. While working towards the MRT we realise how silly we were to have come so far to buy something that we could have got near our place. Its a little cheaper but if we add in the transport fees then it really make no sense. And its so heavy!! We realise our silliness but to console ourselves we told ourselves that its ok since it will make a very easy memory on the things we bought on our 1st trip to Vivo Giant SUpermarket. HahHA.. Share some very silly photo we took @ Giant at the end of this post. Till Next Time!!
Sirloin Steak With Baked Potatos!! (The Reason Why Cheryl carry a Heavy Pack Of Potatos From ViVo Back Home).
My Very Rare Steak,
Our Fav Milky Drink!. Easy Guess Which Is Mine.
Fried Shitake Mushrooms With Wasabi Mayonaise Sauce. Heavenly!!
The Tic Tac Toe Stock Cube We FOund @ The Marketplace.. Haha.. Cheryl Even Took Some Effort To Arrange A Winnig Game For The "X".
We Saw Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream!! Cheryl's Sinful Fav. I was Just Playing Along.
Cheryl Saw Something She Really Like. LOL.

Touched~~
Today I was as usual blog surfing in my office and I came across this blog abt a couple in US who adopted 3 siblings from Colombia (Its in South America NOT Sri Lanka). What really touched me is they choos to adopt all 3 of them into their family. I can imagine how heaven sent this kids felt abt this adoptive Mami and Papi (that's how the 3 kids address the authors). My eyes was tearing as I read how the youngest one was improving in his speech and everything else as time goes by. I think you need to read the blog to understand what I am saying.
Today I went home early early. Haha. My mommy was on leave today. And I called her @ about 3.30pm. She was @ NTUC Amk hub with my Godma. How can go shopping without me!!! So I rushed down to join. Haha.. Luckily they just started. ( I very Ah Soh hor?? Go Grocery shopping with 2 aunties?? Haha But its 1 of my fav past time actually. Never fail to push the trolley around Carrefour with Nu'er Hong everytime we are @ Plaza Sing.)
I have lost my handphone on the 5th day of CNY. Haiz. Its my boss's phone by the way. Felt so sorry. And heartache too because I took so many pictures with it and was going to do a "show and tell" here. Now all gone. Sianz
As per my previous blog, I have more or less confirmed that house WE saw. Just handed in OUR loan application. Yes, its been a long time since I use the words "WE, OURS, US" to mention jevon and I. Haha.. Recently I have been reminded by 3 friends that actually I should treat Jevon better. NH says I tend to get angry very easily everytime things are not done my way. She thinks that even though sometimes Jevon give very silly suggestion, I should learn to accept them and not insist things to be done mine way. Right, I know I am very short tempered and my upbringing puts me in a decision maker position. I can't say I am spoiled, I am just ,almost always, being the one who lends the ear and shoulder and advice. In the long run, its like "hmm Wendy say so .. ok her words count". I don't know why it became this way, but it did. I shall try to be more accommodating and patient towards him can? Hopfully it will really improve our relationship.
Irene says see how he sided me when PILS were too much. So he can't be too bad. Ok true. I really appreciate. I will try not to be too demending and set my expectations lower.
Wee says he still make an effort to ask me out on V Day. I should appreciate. I did!!! BUT !! He only asked, he have got no plan what so ever. No idea where to go/eat/shop.. OK OK!! I appreciate the thought can?? I am trying to improve things. Any other suggestions on what I should/should not do?? Feel free to comment.

Finally..
Finally a happy event after so many unhappy things - qurrels, and lost of my hp..
I HAVE GOT MY OWN HOUSE!!! Yes.. we have bought a new flat over CNY.. It was a bit of impulsive purchase because I have very terrible qurrel with my inlaws during CNY.. Anyway its considered case closed so not going to blog abt it.
I saw the advertisment of this flat just as I was returing home on sunday night. The agent had pasted a "FOR SALE" paper next to the lift. The block was what I was looking for so i gave the agent a call. My in laws and my parents went to view it that very night. Its @ the lift level and quite high too. Only down point is my hall and 1 of the room is along the corridor. Well, as long as I can move out, anything goes. Its was suppose to be a 4 room flat (3 bedrooms and the living room is consider 4 rooms) but the owner had knocked down 1 of the rooms and converted it into a dinning area. Since now that the kids are still small, I think its ok that for now they share a room first.
The master bed room does not come with a toilet. There a shower area and a toilet in the kitchen. I can live with that. The kitchen is very run down but my Dad says he will do it up for me. (Save money haha..)
And I have strike 4D for the block number yesterday!!! haha.. Hopfully tis a sign that its a lucky house!

My Home
I actually wanted to name this blog as "My Jail". Haha. Because I really feel like getthing out of here. To be exact, its not feel, its I MUST get out of here. I moved here right after my wedding for the purpose of maintaining /symbolise my marriage (Aunty from the 6th floor will ask Aunty from the 15th floor " Do U know the David's just got a daughter in law?) But now that the marriage is on the rock, there's nothing that makes me wanna come back here except for the 2 kids. Is difficult but so far I have managed to drag myself home after work. Anyway, lets take a look around.
This is my bedroom. It look like a storeroom. Never able to keep it clean with the 2 of them around. My ger insist to be in the picture. That's my boy as usual jumping on my bed. Hahah.
Here, we are looking @ the small balcony. Fil made this into a minigarden with all his plants and bonsai. Joash's always play with the soil from the pots, ewww.. Jovel is playing on the keyboard that her grandma bought her for Christmas last year.
A close up on the plants. There are some on the outside of the window and some more on the right.
The dinning area taken from the balcony. This is also where we do our work and homework. Looks like its taken fron the 2nd story right? Haha.. Opticle illusion.

The maid's room cum computer room. Another messsy area. Hahah..
My room and maid's room is just side by side. Joash is accidentally caught in this picture.

Irene mentioned that I have not been updating my blog. Yup i know. I am really really busy ever since Jovel went to P1.

I was very free this afternoon so I was blog surfing. I realise some very nice blog were about neighbourhoods. While blog surfing, I was like being brought fron Utah to Colorado. And because its just pass winter for the other side of the earth, there were so many pictures with everything covered in snow!! Its really eye openingas we don't have the changing of seasons here.
From the Neo counter on my blog, there are some readers from other country. So I am going to start my own "Show and Tell" blog.. Hopfully can let citizens from other countries know more about us!! Hahah.. here goes:
This is me in my office when I am really free.
This pub is next to my office. Not many pub open door to door to offices in Singapore.
Someone selling the seasonal king of fruit - Durian!! But its seems like we get to eat it all year round lately. HMM.. Favourite!!
The hotel next to my office block. Sells very cheap buffet supper. Haven't try it yet before though.

PMS
I feel very down this few days. I got no idea why.
But suddenly I miss my grandparents so much.
I used to be very proud that I have my full sets of grandparents and a great grand mother when I was in Primary school. Felt like not many of my friends were as lucky as me.
Then 9 years ago my maternal grandmother passed away very suddenly. I still remember we even visited her in the 1st day of CNY 1999. But she passed away on the 5th day. She is 1 most respectable woman. Strong, giving, forgiving and always know what she's doing. Many things happened after her passing. I know very well that if she's around all these will not have happened.
As for my father side. The side where I grew up with. Grandpa is getting more and more confusing about things around him. We did not send him to the doctor because we believe that he's just being himself - aging graciously. I think its a good idea that medical science is not introduced into his life. I feel like if he's fed medicine, he wouldn't be as lively and fresh as he is now. Although he can't see well and get confused about his timing, overall he's still quite independant.
Grandma was still pretty strong until recently she complaint of pain in her knees and back. She has been on medicaine for her high blood for many years now. Mental wise, she is still good at it. She can still cook but only with my aunty around. We are worried that 1 day she might forget to turn off the gas. She still remembers alot of our chinese tradition rules for ALL occasions. Confinements, birthday, wedding etc. Haha. She's like 1 walking ecyclopedia.
Great Grandma (Ah Chor) passed away @ a ripe age of 90+. There were a hundred over of us to send her off. I don't know much about her past but looking at the family members present I am sure she's the same as my grandma - kind, gentle and loved by all. She's got adopted children, step children. All getting along with no problem. The only reason I can think of is because she is a fair and loving lady. That's why the whole family, though there are children and grand children not of her own, everyone still cry and feel sad at her departure.
